Privacy Policy for users of tossd.org and tossd.online

The OECD is committed to protecting the personal data of users of its websites, which are an essential tool for advancing our mission and programme of work.

This privacy policy describes the types of personal data we collect, how we use them, who has access and for how long. It also provides information on the rights provided to website users under our data protection rules.

I. How we collect and use personal data

We collect personal data through the use of our websites in two ways: data you directly provide to us and data generated by your activity on the websites.

A. On tossd.org

Data generated by your activity. In order to ensure the effective functioning and security of the website and to better understand visitor behavioural patterns, as you browse the website we automatically collect:

• Log information such as the pages you visit, the time/date of your visit as well as your internet
protocol (IP) address.
• Device and software information such as your browser specifications and operating system.

This information is collected through the use of various technologies, including cookies, which are smalltext files stored in your browser.

Access and storage. In general, access to your personal data is limited to appropriate staff within the organisation. In some circumstances we make your data available outside the OECD. We use a third-party service (Google Analytics, United States) to help us understand visitor behaviour by allowing the service access to the data generated by your activity and store them using cookies. These data are processed in a way that does not directly identify you.

B. On tossd.online

Data you directly provide. You can choose to voluntarily provide us personal data in the context of the creation of a user account on Tossd.online.

These data enable us to provide the services you have requested and include: your username, email address and a password, the date you created your account, the time when you last accessed tossd.online, and the last time you logged into your user account.

About storing filter combinations:

  • Once you have created an account on Tossd.online, you will be able to create, recall or delete filter combinations. Only your filter combination, the date of creation and a title that you will have chosen to qualify this filter combination, will be stored at your request by clicking on the “save” button.
  • You have the possibility at any time to delete all filter combinations that you have created on Tossd.online.

You have the possibility to completely delete your account on Tossd.online, which will result in the complete, immediate and definitive deletion of all your filter combinations, username, email and password.

Data generated by your activity. In order to ensure the effective functioning and security of the website and to better understand visitor behavioural patterns, as you browse the website we automatically collect:

• Log information such as the pages you visit, the time/date of your visit as well as your internet

If you have registered and are logged-in, your browsing activity is linked to your user credentials so that we can personalise your experience on the website, including for future visits.

Access and storage. Tossd.online is hosted and maintained by Mr. Karim Bouchekoura based in Paris, France and your data are stored in Paris, France. In addition, access to your personal data is limited to appropriate staff within the organisation. We use a third-party service (Google Analytics, United States) to help us understand visitor behaviour by allowing the service access to the data generated by your activity and store them using cookies. These data are processed in a way that does not directly identify you. Data you provide directly are kept until you unsubscribe from the service requested.

Links to other websites

Where we provide links to websites of other organisations, this privacy policy does not cover how those organisations process personal data. For example, we may link our websites to our profiles on a number of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content on third-party websites and encourage you to read the privacy notices of other websites you visit.

How to contact us or exercise your rights

Under our data protection rules, you have rights to access and rectify your personal data, as well as to object to their processing, and to request erasure in certain circumstances. To exercise these rights in connection with your use of our websites please contact tossd.contact@oecd.org.
